Professor Reich conveniently fails to mention anything in regards to govt. spending between 1980 and today, during the time the U.S. economy has "doubled". Without that part of the equation, we are not getting the full picture as to why kids are crowded in school, social services are being cut, etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, Rich M. I agree. There are a lot of moving parts that aren't covered here. It would be great to get a really good map of all the short falls, almost like a visual budget map, showing what's coming in and what's going out and how it's changed since 1980.
